Litt i overkant, men for meg akseptabelt for &#8220;av og til&#8221;.<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Beter er virkelig undervurdert! Jeg har vokst opp med r\u00f8dbeter, syltede som regel, og et par ganger kj\u00f8pt hele beter og laget r\u00f8dbetsuppe. Jeg elsker r\u00f8dbeter! Saftige, smakfulle og gode.<\/p>\n<p>Dog har jeg v\u00e6rt skjermet for andre varianter i mangel p\u00e5 tilgang i butikker, og kj\u00f8pte av nysgjerrighet gule beter her for en ukes tid siden da jeg fant dem p\u00e5 Lidl. I g\u00e5r ble de en del av ingrediensene i en rotfruktsuppe med k\u00e5l og p\u00f8lse, og milde himmel det er ikke siste gang jeg kj\u00f8per dem! Smaken er sv\u00e6rt lik r\u00f8dbetene, men du f\u00e5r ikke denne r\u00f8de safta som alltid havner der den ikke skal og alltid \u00f8delegger noe fint klesplagg eller duk for deg. J sa at n\u00e5r jeg lager r\u00f8dbetsuppe skal han kle seg naken og sette seg i badekaret f\u00f8r han spiser fordi han er ekspert p\u00e5 \u00e5 s\u00f8le r\u00f8dbeter noe sted.<\/p>\n<p>Beteplantene er to\u00e5rige som regel, men det finnes ogs\u00e5 ett\u00e5rige planter. Felles for dem alle er en oppsvulmet rot som er smakrik og god \u00e5 spise. R\u00f8dbeten er jo som nevnt den mest vanlige varianten, og vi antar at betene kom rundt 1400-1600 tallet til norden en gang. Likevel vet vi den har blitt dyrket i over 3000 \u00e5r av mennesker i s\u00f8r og vest-Europa. Skriftlig finner vi beviser fra 2000 \u00e5r tilbake.<\/p>\n<p>Alle beter er rike p\u00e5 B-vitamin og kostfiber, samt de inneholder ofte mye kalium. Som regel ligger de mellom 8 og 9 gram karbohydrater per 100 gram bete. Smaker godt gj\u00f8r de alle sammen, enten det er r\u00f8de, hvite, gule eller polkabete! Sukkerbeter er i samme slekt, samme med bladnepe, men sukkerbete unng\u00e5r jeg \u00e5 engang vurdere siden 99% av det forsvinner til sukkerproduksjonen og ikke minst: Sukker, nevnte jeg sukker? \ud83d\ude09 De andre nepene er mer enn s\u00f8te nok for min smak, og jeg skal ivrig jakte p\u00e5 hvite neper n\u00e5 for \u00e5 pr\u00f8ve ogs\u00e5 dem.<\/p>\n<p>Gule beter er ogs\u00e5 et fint alternativ til K\u00e5lrot for de som vil ha fargen men ikke liker smaken for\u00f8vrig. K\u00e5lrota i seg ligger p\u00e5 straks over 6 gram karbohydrater og er jo s\u00e5ledes et litt bedre alternativ enn beter, men for meg som allerede godtar gulrot er betene et fint alternativ til
