Mye av den finske matkulturen er ikke helt ulik den norske, fokus p\u00e5 grovt br\u00f8d fremfor alt, og en hel del av de tradisjonelle matrettene er ikke ulike de norske.<\/p>\n<p>Denne retten har r\u00f8tter fra Karelen. Den tilberedes over lang tid i ovn i ildfast form. Avhengig om du vil ha likt med kj\u00f8tt, gulrot og potet velger du selv hvor mye gr\u00f8nnsaker du vil ha. Gr\u00f8nnsakene skrelles, og deles i grove biter. Det samme med kj\u00f8ttet.<br \/>\nLegg alt i dyp ildfast form, salte og ha i hel pepper. Har du ikke hel pepper bruker du bare finmalt eller grovmalt i stedet. Bland alt helt greit og hell p\u00e5 vann eller buljong om du vil ha ekstra mye smak, akkurat nok til \u00e5 kunne skimte vannet mellom bitene.<\/p>\n<p>Legg p\u00e5 lokk (eller folie) p\u00e5 forma og sett den ganske lavt men ikke p\u00e5 nederste rille. La det kose seg noen timer p\u00e5 150 grader, dess fler timer dess m\u00f8rere og mer smak f\u00e5r du av den, men etter et par timer p\u00e5 et minimum er det ferdig. Pass p\u00e5 at det ikke blir t\u00f8rt, og vend om i forma noen ganger under stekinga.<\/p>\n<p>Serveres gjerne med norsk flatbr\u00f8d til, eller grovt rugbr\u00f8d.
